All multiplayer matches work to gain progress. As a reminder, you can work on any of the assignments when you wish, but you can only earn progress for one per match. Regardless, it's up to you if you want to mess with them. So not every assignment is worth the hassle, nor are they needed for achievements, as said above. While afflictions can be equipped to stunt the player in some way or form. Perks can be equipped to give you a special ability in multiplayer. So it's wise to look at the rewards first before wasting your time.įor example, you can earn both perks and afflictions from service assignments. The rewards themselves vary greatly, and not all of them will benefit you. You will not earn anything for partially completing the assignment.

Each assignment has specific objectives and requirements to complete, and the full list must be finished in order to unlock the reward. Service Assignments are available at any time and can be accessed via the 'soldier' tab of the main menu. If you're looking to find out which rewards are no longer obtainable, see further below. That being said, any rewards that you've unlocked previously will still remain, and there are still other ways to earn unique rewards. But with support now removed, there's little point.
